The mission of Foundation for Children, Inc. is to provide healing resources and medical surgery for children especially orphans.
SURGEONS RETURN THROUGH ASH FOR SUCCESSFUL MISSION
Our 2010 surgical trip ended just days ago, providing 16 surgeries to orphans in Ukraine through the generous assistance of our extraordinary medical team from Nemours Children's Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida. Traveling once again were Dr. Michael Erhard, Dr. Kevin Neal, and Janice Holycross, surgical nurse. Our board member Dr. Charles Moore added his expertise in plastic surgery and a new member of our team Dr. Ashok Manocha, initiated a new dental program.
Foundation for Children / MED ASSIST USA has been working with children since 1997.
We have provided almost $10 million worth of medical equipment to the children of Crimea, Ukraine through the Republic Children's Hospital and various orphanages.
In 2007 we began recruiting surgical teams to work side by side with Ukrainian doctors to provide delicate surgery for children.
We have had financial assistance from Rotary International, through the Florida District 6940 clubs and Ukrainian Rotary clubs. Clubs in Bourne, Massachusetts, New Jersey and England have also made major contributions. If your Rotary club is interested, please contact us.
